Happy Birthday Rotary
 

Rotary was founded 112 years ago on February 23, 1905 in Chicago.  The Rotary Club of McHenry celebrated with (1) extraordinary member attendance at its recent regular Noon meeting (which is held every Thursday at the McHenry VFW Post #4600, 3002 West Route 120, McHenry, Illinois), (2) a birthday cake, and (3) "Fun and Frolics" questions on Rotary International (by member Diana Mark).  We learned that the smallest Rotary Club (with only 11 members) is the Pohnpei Rotary Club in the Federated States of Micronesia;  Pohnpei Island is an island among the Senyavin Islands, has a population of around 34,000 (2010), and is located in the Pacific Ocean South East of China and North East of Australia.
