Tammy L. Chatman, Public Information Officer for the McHenry Base of 'Flight for Life' explains the vital mission of this life-saving medical helicopter service.
 

    The Rotary Club of McHenry welcomed Tammy L. Chatman, Public Information Officer for “Flight for Life,”  a regional medical air transport service, at a recent meeting.   She emphasized that the mission of her organization is to provide SAFE, high quality, customer-oriented and efficient medication transportation to a region comprising Illinois and Wisconsin.  The emergency service is based in three areas: Fond du Lac, McHenry, and Waukesha.  She also noted that they are encouraging people in McHenry to give blood the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 29th, at Station One in McHenry.  Tammy is shown in the photo above with Rotarian and McHenry Fire Chief, Tony Huemann.
